In the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, the METU City Planning Master Studio focused on the theme of Planetary Urbanization, exploring urbanization as a multi-scalar, interconnected process that extends beyond traditional city boundaries. Within this framework, the studio examined Hasanoğlan, Elmadağ (Ankara) as a case study, addressing the spatial, socio-economic, and environmental dynamics shaping its transformation.

The Final Jury of the City Planning Master Studio, where students will present their final projects based on their comprehensive analyses of Hasanoğlan, will be held on June 10, 2026, at 14:00, in Kubbealtı, METU Faculty of Architecture.
